Some people like 'flashy' sites, but Adobe Flash ® and other related tools aren't always approprite for an entire design project. It's great to be able to include some complex effects but no site should be completely dependant on such things. With all the fears of viruses and identity theft running rampant across the media, a lot of people are too afraid to install a plugin or allow an Active X control run on their computer.
